The Elusive Samurai anime, which Studio CloverWorks is producing and is scheduled to premiere in 2024, debuted a new key image and trailer during Jump Festa 2024. Character designs are by Yasushi Nishiya in this Yuta Yamazaki-directed series that Yoriko Tomita composed.

With the aid of a few devoted retainers who have also managed to survive the purge, Tokiyuki escapes after the traitor Ashikaga Takauji massacres his family. Suwa Yorishige, the lord of Suwa Province and an ally of the Hojo clan, is one of them. In addition to claiming to be clairvoyant, the rather strange Yorishige predicts that Tokiyuki would eventually control Japan. However, leaving enemy territory is the top priority right now!
