The first trailer for Seiyuu Radio no Uraomote, the anime adaption, has been published. The series, which is slated to premiere in Japan in 2024, is based on a light novel written by Kou Nikatsu and illustrated by Sabamizore.
As of December 2023, the light novel series, which debuted in 2020, has nine volumes published under the Dengeki Bunko imprint of KADOKAWA. It also served as the basis for Umemi Yakimoto’s three-volume manga adaptation.

The hosts of a weekly radio show are Yugure Yuhi and Utatane Yasumi, two high school voice actors who just so happen to go to the same school and end up in the same class. They demonstrate their wonderful relationship to all the listeners as voice actors and fellow pupils! On the surface, anyway. Chika, the calm girl, and Yumiko, the gyaru, are actually total opposites. And they are utterly incompatible with one another. Anarchy and insults break out off-air. They are best pals while they are in the air. Where will their turbulent romance end up?
