The anime series “Banished From The Heroes’ Party” has a second season called “Shin no Nakama janai to Yūsha no Party o Oidasareta node, Henkyō de Slow Life Suru Koto ni Shimashita 2nd,” which Kadokawa recently revealed will debut on January 7.
The series will be available for viewing on Crunchyroll in a number of countries, including India, Europe, and North America.
The first season’s director, Makoto Hoshino, will serve as chief director of the upcoming season, with Satoshi Takafuji taking over as director. Production of animation is now exclusively handled by Studio Flad.
Alongside Tsukasa Ohira, the returning art director, Yukiko Ashino enters as the art setting director.
Kenji Takehara is replaced as director of photography by Norimasa Teramoto, and Nobuyuki Abe is replaced as sound director by Takatoshi Hamano. Sound design is currently under Magic Capsule’s control.
The new cast for the second season includes:
- Satoshi Mikami as Cardinal Lub
- Aya Uchida as Esther
- Yumiri Hanamori as Van
- Ai Kakuma as Lavender
The narrative centers on Red, a former member of the Hero’s party who chooses to run an apothecary in order to live a modest life on the frontier after being banished.
But when his fellow adventurer Rit reappears and wants to move in with him, his history finally catches up with him. The light novels are published in English by Yen Press, and the first season, which aired in the fall of 2021, is available to stream on Crunchyroll.
In October 2017, Zappon started serializing the story on the “Shōsetsuka ni Nārō” website. Kadokawa eventually published it in June 2018. The novels were turned into a manga by Masahiro Ikeno for Monthly Shōnen Ace magazine in May 2018.
With more than 2.2 million copies in print, the franchise never fails to enthrall viewers.
